Our bedroom is a mélange of European and Asian influences carefully balanced to create a serene and sophisticated environment. Rich textures and luxurious fabrics have been incorporated with strong architectural elements and dramatic furnishings. Soft neutral textiles - silk, grass cloth and embroidered bed linens - contrast with the deep wood tones and bold furniture choices. Attentively selected art and accessories complete this elegant and cosmopolitan interior.

Meryl Santopietro

Meryl Santopietro's multifaceted interior design business is located in Boston and Providence, Rhode Island. Her client list spans from Boston to South Beach and across the pond to London. Her projects include a tony beachfront condo, historic Beacon Hill brownstone, and the second oldest country club in the United States. She is known for listening to her clients' needs and expectations and she delivers a unique design suited to their lifestyle.

Her educational background reflects her commitment to art – university fine arts major, advanced studies in art history at the University of California at Berkeley, certificate work at Rhode Island School of Design and ASID membership.

Alan Reniere

Santopietro's design varies from classical and traditional to modern in order to satisfy a diverse and high profile clientele. Above all, she is passionate about her design work and committed to her loyal clients.

Since establishing his firm in 1980, Alan Reniere has developed a reputation for creating highly detailed classic interiors that maintain a modern freshness. He draws on many influences including a reverence for and training in art history and architecture, extensive European travel, as well as a particular interest in English and Asian design. The combination of these elements is brought to bear on all his projects. His goal is also to always balance the needs and preferences of each client to create spaces that are beautiful, functional and comfortable.

Meryl and Alan often collaborate on projects that they believe would benefit from their combined expertise, and what better place to showcase their talents than at the BDC Dream Home.
